We don't advise
in slide decks.
We advise in your numbers.

Strategic consulting for mid-sized companies, from people who can build the software once the workshop is over. No consultant carousel, no PDF left to gather dust. Plain talk, clarity, and a plan you can act on from day one.

Let's clear this up

Six prejudices
and why they don't apply to us.

In many mid-sized offices, "consultant" is a dirty word. For good reason. Here are the most common complaints we hear, and what we do differently in concrete terms.

Prejudice 01
A 200-page PDF nobody reads. Fee collected. Goodbye.
How we do it
One page of clarity. One concrete roadmap. And if you want, we build the software that delivers on it, strategy and execution from one team, with no handover losses.
Prejudice 02
A consultant juggling 20 clients at once, your project is just one of many.
How we do it
We take on only a few projects at a time. Whoever is in our pipeline has our attention, no "my colleague will take over", no rotating points of contact.
Prejudice 03
They always recommend whatever brings the consultant the most follow-up revenue.
How we do it
We tell you honestly when software isn't the answer. Sometimes the right answer is: "Excel is enough, just cleaner." We write that down too.
Prejudice 04
One-size-fits-all recipes from the methodology toolkit, no matter which company walks in.
How we do it
We start with your numbers, your shift plan, your software landscape. Not with "SCRUM 2.0" or "OKR framework". Methods are tools, not religion.
Prejudice 05
A PowerPoint show instead of delivery. The recommendation arrives, then "you'll need an implementation partner."
How we do it
We can build what we recommend. Software, interfaces, AI integration. No expensive handover to third parties, no language barrier between strategy and code.
Prejudice 06
Corporate jargon, consultant bingo. Nobody understands it, everyone nods anyway.
How we do it
Mid-sized business. Plain talk. If you don't understand a word, it was the wrong word. We talk to managing directors and to the people on the shop floor.

Why Pixelschnitzel

Four reasons
we can honestly do this better.

01
One point of contact

Florian. From start to handover.

No rotating consultant team, no "my colleague is taking over now". Personal responsibility, for the whole project. Mobile number included.

02
Code + business

We build what we recommend.

Strategy and software development from the same hand. No handover to implementation partners, no translation losses, no hidden interface costs.

03
Mid-market DNA

Quarterly figures, not board slides.

We know the reality of 30 to 500-employee companies. Tight budgets, tight schedules, clear results. No corporate methods that wouldn't fit anyway.

04
BVMID-certified

Official AI expert at the mid-market association.

Recognised by the BVMID for the strategic integration of AI at member companies. Verified expertise, not a self-awarded badge on LinkedIn.

What ends up on your desk

Concrete deliverables
not just good feelings.

01
Process map

A visual snapshot of your workflows, where data flows, where it stalls, where duplicate work creeps in. You've never seen it on a single page before.

02
Quick-wins list

What you can put into action in the next 4 weeks, with effort, benefit and an owner. Even without us. Promised.

03
Feasibility analysis

For bigger plans: an honest assessment of effort, risks, alternatives. Including a "better leave it" recommendation, where appropriate.

04
12-month roadmap

Prioritised by ROI and dependency. With milestones you can show your advisory board, and that actually hold.

When we're the right fit

If you've ever said
one of these sentences
then let's talk.

These are the typical situations in which our clients call us. If you recognise yourself in one of them: good sign.

01
"We do most of it in Excel, but it's not really stable anymore."
02
"The standard software doesn't fit our workflows, so we adapt the workflows."
03
"We lose half an hour at every shift change to handovers."
04
"We have data in five systems, and no honest answer to a simple question."
05
"AI sounds sensible, but no one here knows where exactly we should start."
06
"We bought consulting once before, and never heard a thing about it again."
How it works

Four steps.
No black box. No surprises.

01 / Free

First consultation

30 min · phone / video

You describe the problem. We listen, ask the honest questions and tell you at the end whether we can help. If not: that's fine too.

02 / Tailored

Workshop

1–2 days · on site with you

We come into your company. We talk to the people who face the problem every day, not just management. We observe, ask, document.

03 / Included

Concept & recommendation

7–14 days later

A clean assessment, a clear recommendation, a 12-month roadmap. Readable in 20 minutes, and we present it in person.

04 / Optional

Delivery

If you want it

We build the software, integrate the AI, support the rollout. Or you do it yourselves, we hand the concept over cleanly, with no vendor lock-in.

Frequently asked

What managing directors
ask us most often.

What does the consulting cost?
The first consultation (30 min) is free. The workshop runs at a fixed price, depending on scope, usually four figures, not five. You get a concrete number after the first consultation, in writing, before you sign anything.
Do we have to buy your software in the end?
No. The concept is yours, no matter who implements it. If you want to bring in another agency, your internal IT or no one at all: completely fine. We earn from the workshop, not from a commitment afterwards.
How long does a consulting engagement take?
From first consultation to recommendation: typically 3–6 weeks. The workshop itself: 1–2 days. Concept creation: 1–2 weeks. We don't tie up your operations for months.
Do you only do software consulting, or process consulting too?
Both, and usually the two can't be separated. Bad processes don't get better with software, just more expensive. That's why we start with the workflows, not the tool.
What if you find you can't help?
Then we say so. In the first consultation at the latest, ideally not only after the workshop. If we only notice later: you're billed for what we delivered up to that point, on a pro-rata basis, not the full price.
Is our data safe?
Yes. GDPR-compliant, NDA as standard, all data processed in Germany. We treat process details like trade secrets, even if it's only a 30-employee company.
Does this make sense for very small companies too?
If you employ at least 5–10 people and spend more than 1 hour a day in Excel: probably yes. Below 5 people, standard tools are often worth more than individual consulting, and we'll say that honestly too.
Can we book individual days only?
Yes. If you just want a 2-hour sparring session on a specific topic, e.g. "Is Microsoft Copilot worth it for us?", that works too. Hourly rate transparent, no minimum scope.
Pricing & investment

Tailored.
And honestly calculated.

Every project is different, so we don't work with list prices. We make the numbers transparent before any investment — including a business case and a concrete ROI if you want one.

Software
from €5,000

Built around your business processes. From a small tool to a complete platform. What it costs and what it returns — we'll tell you after the first call.

Artificial Intelligence
from €10,000

RAG, chatbots, on-premise models, OCR, mail classification. We start where AI delivers measurable value — not where the hype is.

Hardware for on-premise AI
Snapshot

Server and GPU prices are highly volatile right now. We provide an up-to-date calculation before you approve any order.

Why we're more affordable

Lean structures. No sales machine that costs more than the development itself. No corporate overhead. Thanks to our lower cost structure, we're below market price for comparable work — provable in a side-by-side quote.

Business case & ROI

On request, we calculate a complete business case with a concrete ROI before the project starts. So you decide on impact, not on price.

Our promise

As soon as a problem is technically solvable, we're on it. There is no "can't be done" here without a reason — and usually with a pragmatic alternative.

Let's talk.
First consultation

30 minutes. No sales pitch.
An honest assessment.

I'll listen to your problem, ask a few uncomfortable questions, and tell you at the end whether we're the right fit. If not, you'll still know more than before.
