Software and AI for
whatever slows you
down every day.

Data typed in twice, Excel lists everywhere, systems that will not talk to each other. We look at where your time actually goes, build the software around it and use AI only where it genuinely takes work off someone's desk. You get one contact for all of it, from the first question to well after go-live.

Who you work with

You talk to Florian.
Right from the start.

“The good ideas rarely come out of a requirements document. They come from the people who run the process every day. So that is who I sit down with first.”

Florian comes from corporate IT and mid-market consulting and has run Pixelschnitzel since 2023. He advises, and he writes code himself. So nobody on the project hears about your intro call second hand. And you will not have to explain it all again after a handover.

Why Pixelschnitzel

Ten tools become
one system.

A legacy ERP, a handful of Excel lists, plus tools somebody introduced at some point. We connect what should stay and rebuild what no longer pays for itself.

Daily reality today

An island for every tool.

Many tools · no connection

The same data kept in four places. When they disagree, someone asks around which figure is right. Every report is done by hand.

With Pixelschnitzel

One connected whole.

One source of truth

DATEV, the ERP and the telematics stay where they are and get connected. Everything is built at your pace, piece by piece.

What we do

Three disciplines,
one contact.

Split consulting, software development and AI across three vendors and you will spend a lot of time mediating between them. Here it all sits in the same hands — from Herne, for the Ruhr region and all of Germany.

01 · Consulting

Listening comes
before coding.

We sit down with your teams and watch how the work actually runs today. Then we tell you where software will make a difference. And where it will not.

02 · Software development

Built around
your workflow.

Not an off-the-shelf product you have to bend your process into. Modular, plugged into the systems you already run, and written so someone can still work with it in five years.

03 · Artificial intelligence

AI that takes
work off your hands.

Reading receipts, pre-sorting mail, making manuals searchable. All things somebody does by hand today. On request the whole thing runs on your own hardware.

What to expect: software projects start at €5,000, AI projects at €10,000. What yours will cost is in the quote before we start — with a business case if you want one. Book a call

Ready-made building blocks

Some of it is
already standing.

Requirements we kept running into we built once, properly. If one of them fits you, it saves you time and money. If none of them do, we will say so.

How we work

How a project runs
with us.

At every stage you know where the project stands, what it has cost so far and what comes next. You will not have to ask.

01

Understand

30 minutes on the phone. You talk, we ask. At the end we say whether this is worth doing for you.

02

Analyse

We come by, watch people work and look for the point with the biggest lever. With a business case on request.

03

Design

You get a quote that says what will be built, what it costs and which assumptions sit behind it.

7–14 days

04

Build

You click through real interim versions early. Whatever does not fit gets changed while changing it is still cheap.

05

Run

After go-live everything stays as you know it: same number, same contact, further development included.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we hear
all the time.

These seven come up in almost every intro call. So you may as well have the answers beforehand.

Who does Pixelschnitzel work for?
Mid-sized businesses, industry, logistics, the public sector and chambers. More than 10,000 people work in the systems we have built. Our office is in Herne, our work covers all of Germany.
What does custom software cost?
Software starts at €5,000, AI projects at €10,000. Before you spend anything we put the numbers on the table, with a business case and ROI on request. For SMEs in NRW there is a grant of up to 50% on AI consulting and testing from 17 August 2026. We help with the application.
How does a project start, and when do we see results?
With a free 30-minute intro call. After that we work in short loops and you see real interim versions early. Depending on scope, something usable often arrives within a few weeks.
Can you connect our existing systems?
Yes, that is the normal case. DATEV, legacy ERPs, telematics, SharePoint or specialised systems all get connected. We only replace what demonstrably no longer pays for itself.
Are your solutions GDPR-compliant, and where does our data live?
Our systems run in German data centres, under a data processing agreement. On request entirely inside your own infrastructure. For AI the rule is simple: nothing is trained on your data.
Do you work with our in-house IT?
Gladly. Architecture decisions are made together and the source code belongs to you. Your IT can co-develop at any time, or take the whole thing over later.
Who is our point of contact?
Florian Brosig, the owner, from the first conversation to well after go-live. You get a direct line and a person who knows your project.

Intro call

30 minutes.
Then you know where you stand.

You describe what is not working. Florian asks questions and tells you at the end whether a project is worth it and roughly what it would cost. If the answer is no, you still know more than before.
